At Neura, we understand that living with a chronic or complex health condition can be overwhelming. But you don’t have to manage it alone.

Building a "care team" of individuals and healthcare providers who support various aspects of your health can make a significant difference in how you feel, function, and navigate daily life.

‍

Who should be on your care team?

Think of your care team as all the people who help you manage your health and well-being. This often includes:

1. Primary Care Provider (PCP)

Your PCP is your general health manager. They keep an eye on your overall “big picture” health and handle:

  • Annual check-ups
  • Common health issues
  • Coordinating referrals to specialists

‍

2. Other specialty providers

These are experts (like a neurologist, cardiologist, rheumatologist, or pain specialist) who focus on specific conditions.

They provide targeted diagnosis and treatment.

Your Neura Health specialist can help coordinate referrals to these specialists if necessary.

‍

3. Therapist or support group

Mental and emotional health are key parts of your journey.

  • A therapist can help you process the emotional side of living with a condition, such as anxiety, depression, or trauma.
  • A support group connects you with others who have similar "lived" experiences, which can be incredibly validating.

‍

‍

Your Neura Health care team

Neura takes the care team model to the next level by combining expert neurologic care with hands-on, concierge-style support.

  • Neura providers: Your dedicated expert for diagnosing and treating conditions like migraine, sleep disorders, and other neurological issues—all through virtual visits. You get specialized care when you need it most.
  • Neura care coaches: These are certified health and wellness coaches who help you apply your care plan in daily life. They help with tracking triggers, managing new routines, and staying on track.
As a Care Coach, I often illustrate to patients that Care Coaching is their “feelings-to-action” pipeline: we take all your care partners' recommendations and help you turn them into day-to-day lifestyle changes with accountability when you need it most. We focus on real impact through behavior change.
  • Care concierges: This team makes your care seamless. They help with scheduling, checking on medication refills, and following up on referrals or lab orders.

Access to your holistic Neura Care team means you're not just seeing a provider. You have a full support system in place to help you implement the plan, adjust as needed, and feel supported long after your visit ends.

‍

How it all works together

Each member of your care team plays a distinct role, but together they support your overall well-being.

Your Neura provider may coordinate with your PCP. Your care coach helps you translate that treatment into real-life action and communicate what’s working (and what isn’t!). By keeping these pieces connected, you can maximize the benefits of each one.

Think of it as full-circle support. Each piece is important in helping you feel better and live better. Neura combines expert neurology care with real-life coaching, making it easier for you to stay on track and achieve results.
